Tenuta Sant'Antonio Amarone Campo dei Gigli 2017
The Campo dei Gigli is intense dark ruby red. It smells excessively of ripe dark fruit, of various herbs, licorice and tobacco. The tannins in the wine are supple, sweet and soft, the firm concentration and restrained power predict a long and promising life. A wine to enjoy in peace, with every sip the Amarone releases new flavors and aromas. A wine for a special moment, but every moment with this Amarone will be special.

The summers are warm, the winters relatively mild. The soils consist of a thin limestone layer, boulders, clay and sand.
The ripe grapes are carefully picked from the end of September to the beginning of October. The fruits are then laid to dry for 3 to 4 months on mats in well-ventilated sheds. In January, after pressing, the vinification process begins with a 30-day soaking and fermentation by natural yeasts, followed by 3 years of aging in new Slovenian oak and 12 months in the bottle.
70% Corvina, 20% Rondinella, 5% Croatina & 5% Oseleta
Fantastic with classic game and meat dishes and hard cheeses, or as a meditation wine in good company.
