Red wine: Baron de Ley Finca Monasterio Rioja 2019

After a very strict selection in the vineyard, the ripe grapes for the Finca Monasterio are harvested by hand. The wine matures for 18 months in American and French oak barrels. Only at the end of the maturation is the final wine composed of the various cuvees. After this blended wine has also undergone a month of barrel aging, it is bottled and the bottle is given its characteristic metal label with a monastery bell. Because of this special label, this red wine is also a wonderful wine gift.

Taste: Powerful and balanced very captivating Rioja with concentrated blackcurrant fruit, coffee, cocoa, licorice and fresh herbs and silky tannins in the taste. A seductive soft wine with a long finish.

Grapes: Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon

Origin: Spain, Rioja, Monastery's estate

Alcohol: 14%

Tip: An ideal accompaniment to grilled and roasted meat.
