Louis Jadot Saint-Romain Burgundy 2021

An elegant wine with aromas of pear, peach, citrus, vanilla and a little butter. The wine is full, round and oily with a long aftertaste. SERVING SUGGESTION: Excellent combination with seafood, sushi, ceviche, or salmon tartare.

The village of Saint-Romain is located next to AuxeyDuresses. The vineyards are located quite high and steep with a south-southeast orientation under the famous cliffs. The soil consists of limestone with some clay veins.

VINIFICATION: The hand-harvested grapes are pressed and fermented in oak barrels, a third of which are new wood. The wine then matures for another 15 months on its yeast cells before bottling.
