Gamla Sangiovese 2020
The wine smells wonderfully of dried flowers, wild berries, jam, tobacco, cassis with spicy scents and a rich aroma of oak and vanilla. The taste is full and rich and spicy. We had this wine tasted during a tasting between all the beautiful and more expensive wines from other countries and it was chosen as a favorite. Really recommended.
The wine has matured for 12 months in French oak barrels.
Delicious with strong meals such as steak in pepper sauce, meatballs in caper sauce and grilled lamb shanks.
