    • Description

A French wine gift with two beautiful Evidence wines from Gustave Lorentz. A beautiful Pinot Gris and Riesling, both organic. The wines are packed in a luxurious wooden box with a sliding lid.

wine 1) Gustave Lorentz Pinot Gris Evidence Organic 2021

Fresh, elegant and aromatic. In the fragrance you smell peach, pear, lime blossom and acacia. The taste is fresh, fruity and balanced with a refined minerality and a long, slightly salty finish. A fantastic organic Alsace wine from one of the best wineries in this region.

Serve with fish in sauces, smoked fish, crab, white meat and aromatic cheeses. In Alsace they serve it with Tourteau crab tartare with lemon zest and a butter lettuce coulis.

A fun fact, this organic Pinot Gris is officially classified as 'sec' (dry) despite its 5.5 grams of residual sweetness. This is permitted in Alsace if the wine contains no more than 2 gr/l less acid, in this case 4.6 grams. This keeps the wine dry in taste.

Origin: France, Alsace, Vineyards located in the Haut-Rhin, the southern part of Alsace, around the town of Bergheim. The soil contains a lot of lime and clay.

Organic wine. Vinification takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks.

      Grapes: pinot gris (100%)

      Alcohol percentage: 14.00%

Wine 2) Gustave Lorentz Riesling Evidence Organic 2021

Expressive, stimulating wine with aromas of lemon, grapefruit, white fruit such as pear and a refined minerality. The taste is elegant, fresh and structured. Like all Gustave Lorentz wines, this wine is elegant, fresh and dry.
