Luigi Einaudi Nebbiolo Langhe 2019

Top wine from the Piemonte by winemaker Luigi Einaudi. Elegant garnet red wine with delicate aromas of red fruit, spices, a full, powerful taste, fairly supple tannins and a long finish.

To be served with beautiful meat dishes, such as veal, tenderloin and light game. Also delicious with richer dishes with mushrooms or truffle.

Climate/Terroir
Continental climate with long cold winters and warm, often humid summers. The vineyards are located in the cru Cattedri in the municipality of Neive at an altitude of 310 meters and have an eastern position. The soil is rich in lime and marl.
Vinification
The grapes ferment in stainless steel tanks. Then follows the malolactic fermentation. Maturation lasts 12 months and takes place both in barriques and
in traditional large oak barrels. The wine then matures in the bottle for 2 months.

The wine is made from the youngest sticks in the vineyards in Neive.
These sticks are not yet eligible for Barolo.
