    • Description

Fruity and spicy wine with aromas of black cherry, plum, blackberry, vanilla and chocolate. Surprisingly fresh style primitivo.

This negroamaro - primitivo comes from the heel of Italy: Puglia. Here it is very sunny and dry and the vineyards get some cooling from the Adriatic and Ionian Sea. The soils consist of chalk and lime.

VINIFICATION: The grapes undergo a maceration of 7-8 days to obtain colour and structure. The alcoholic and malolactic transformations take place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 25-27°C.

      GRAPES: negroamaro, primitivo

      ALCOHOL PERCENTAGE: 13.50%

SERVING SUGGESTION: Delicious wine with beef, lamb or southern Italian pasta dishes such as orecchiette al ragu Pugliese.

      Serve at 18-20°C.

FACT: The name Negroamaro is a reference to the color and flavor of the grape. Negroamaro is almost black in color (negro) and has a slightly bitter aftertaste (amaro) that combines well with the ripe red fruit you taste.
