You will find a white Sancerre on every good wine list. The vineyards of Sancerre are located in the Loire region in France and wine is mainly produced here from the Sauvignon Blanc grape. We have packed the beautiful bottle in a luxurious wooden box with a sliding lid.

If you know someone who doesn't really like wine yet, serve this wine with a piece of lightly grilled goat cheese. From now on you can enjoy a glass of wine with this person. Because only after tasting this wine will you know how good wine can taste.

Taste: The taste of this dry, fresh wine is mainly determined by fruit, both ripe and young fruit. The smell is sometimes reminiscent of freshly mown grass and the taste also has hints of asparagus and gooseberries. A complex wine. You taste many different elements.

Grapes: Sauvignon Blanc

Origin: France, Loire, Bué

Alcohol: 12.5%

Domaine Paul Prieur et Fils Paul Prieur , descendant of a centuries-old winemaking family in Verdigny, was one of the producers who revived the wines from Sancerre in the mid-1960s. Including by being one of the first to bottle its own wines, promoting the Sancerre brand throughout France and then exporting its wines to Great Britain. With his sons Didier and Philippe, he expanded the vineyard area to 18.5 hectares and the domain now also includes famous quality vineyards such as Monts Damnés, Bouffants and Pichon. Didier's son Luc recently joined the family business, making him the eleventh generation of winemakers in the family. With their extensive knowledge and love for the terroir, the Prieurs work their vineyards with respect for nature and are one of the few producers in the region to harvest manually.

Tip: With a piece of dry goat cheese, preferably grilled, this wine is the absolute pinnacle of enjoyment. But this wine is also wonderfully refreshing with fish dishes.
